best driving academy refund policy

Once you have been registered for a class you have up to 48 hours to request a refund.  After 48 hours we will accommodate you by offering  another class date or time.  We offer Morning, Evening and Weekend Classes. 

Private lessons are prepaid prior to the start of your lesson.  Students have 24 hours to cancel a private lesson request.  After 24 hours refunds will not be allowed. 

A $75.00 No Show fee will be charged for any BTW drive request missed, unless Best Driving Academy is notified by the student at least 48-hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. 

Online Driver's Ed. Cost for 30 hours of instruction: $240.00

Behind the Wheel (BTW) 6 hours driving Cost for BDA Students: $240.00

Certificate Copies—If you request copies of any certificates (Driver Improvement, Safe & Sober-3  Hour Drug & Alcohol, etc. ), there is a $10.00 reissue fee.
Requesting copies after 1 year from the issue date: A $25.00 fee will apply. 

Policy on Refunding to Credit Cards Used for Original Payment 

Goods and Services 2024 Compliance: Refunds will be returned to the credit card used. No cash refund if a credit card was used for purchasing services. Please allow 14 days for processing. 

Administrative Processing Fee: $100.00

This fee is charged to process any cancelation request. 

Online Database Processing Fee: $100.00

This fee is charged to disenroll the student from the online database.

Request for student information: $50.00 

This fee is charged to students who have moved to another state or wish to have their information sent to another school.  The Administrative processing fee and online database cancelation fee will also apply.

Reinstatement Fee: $100.00

A reinstatement fee will apply if a student fails to complete the driver's education course during the class dates and times initially enrolled in.  This failure could be due to the following listed below: 

*Driver's education course students must attend all class dates and times. If a student misses more than two days of online driver's education training, the student will be transferred to another class date and time. 

*Students who did not complete the course for personal reasons.

Reinstatement Fee: $100.00 

The driver's education program consists of 36 hours of training (30 hours of driver's education training and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training). Students must complete the 36 hours in 12 months. If a student fails to complete the 36 hours in 12 months, the reinstatement fee above will be charged.  

Student Records:

Best Driving Academy will maintain student records for 3 years. 

After 3 years, student records will be purged from the MVA and Best Driving Academy databases.  After 3 years, if a student has not completed the driver's education program, students must go through the driver's education program again. 

Misconduct/Behavior Issues Policy: 

The following policy applies to any student who demonstrates disruptive behavior or who interferes with the classroom or online Drivers Education environment.

• First Offense: a verbal warning to the student.

• Second Offense: Document the offense and consult with the student and parent/guardian. If the student is 18 or older, consult with the enrolled member and the owner of Best Driving Academy.

• Third Offense: Student or member will be removed from the class.  Zero refund.
